Its hard to say maybe there there is not enough pressure in the shock to stop it from bottoming out... have you tried increasing the air pressure.

Do you have anyone willing to loan you a RP23? FOX RP23's is excellent at resisting bottoming. Mine is pumped to 300psi.

Stock update no more mounts available, all sold and thank you all your support

Hi...I have a Terra Shark. it's a natural carbon look..no painting. dam it looks nice but i think i need a new shock and a new/rebuilt front damper/forks. I don't know the year...i'm a real newb at this stuff. so far i'm liking it but almost gave up on the shark cuz i crashed so hard i bought another bike..a specialized big hit..it also needed a rebuild on the rear shock. compared to my big hit it is awful..but i don't want to give up on her. what do i do to get this bike like a big hit or better????

When describing a shock..what is the smaller number ..for instance 190 x 55 I have a stock..at least i think i do ..Terrashark. It has a Fox float rc. Is that an old out of production shock or ........? thanks. where can I find the specs for my Terrashark. I don't know the year..it's all carbon fibre. thanks

On a 190 x 50 shock the 50 refers to the stroke of the shock. 190 refers to the distance between the mounting eyelets.
