So who knows how we could get some replacements made for the hard 'rubber' block that the Mako swingarm bumps up against?

I imagine one could use one to make a mould and then make new ones using some sort of mixed material that sets hard, but not rock hard. It doesn't have to be the same material, but it needs to be the same shape.

The one on mine is in two pieces and it could be put together for making the cast.

Regards
Rob

Hi Joe, my post says I have the same problem, not a solution.

If someone reading the forum knows how to sort this out, they've now got plenty of posts to respond to.

I wouldn't have the bike joined permanently. That would seem a bit drastic, and destroy any potential value in the frame. What's needed is someone in some sort of industrial sample engineering shop to make a replacement. If I ever figure it out, I'll be sure to tell.

I wish I could see one of these bikes. I feel like I might be able to come up with a solution if I could hold one in my hands.

Robert I got my bike back the Bike Mechanic did a great job I gave him this orange  rubber material that is used by HVAC mecanics to rebuild valves they make thier own gasket out of it it is about 18" thick he glued a piece where it folds in the bottom bracket. It came out great after that repair I had him change the handlebar and tires .This Bike is Great Now don't give up.They are Great Bikes too bad they stopped making them I just got another epx for my Florida home.  First time out I did 21 miles on it. It was a good day.Happy Trails!!!
