Everyone is encouraged to post photos of themselves, their bikes, their friends riding.. anything related to the fun you have with your EPX bike. We want to see who you are and how you ride!

Images need to be compressed to 300kb or less before uploading. Below are a couple of cool Windows programs to help (please let me know an equivalents for Macs).

Image Resizer Powertoy
A tiny Windows XP addon from Microsoft. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Just right click your image/s and resize. Choose from 4 standard sizes or type in your own values. I recommend using this tool and selecting the Medium or the Small setting.

Google Picasa
This very cool freebie from Google is a complete image management application. It has loads of features and is fun to mess with. There's also a version available for Linux.

How to post your photos
When you add a new topic to the forum, you will see a couple of boxes down the bottom labeled Message Attachments. Click and browse to your resized images and when you submit your post, they will be uploaded and displayed.

Each image can have a maximum 300kb file size. After upload they will be automatically resized to 480x480 pixels and compressed to suit.

Hope that helps everyone get started.

I purchased by EPX 303 back in 2001.  It is a beautiful yellow color.  I used to call her "Mellow Yellow", but the color is hardly mellow, So I have renamed her "Carbon Electra". (My wife's name happens to be Electra too.)

I purchased it when I decided to do my first ever multi-day event (4-day 475 mile AIDS ride).  The bike held up fine, but my "tuch" was under some distsress due to the then new saddle.  It came with Shimano 105 throghtout and Beautiful black anozided Mavic cosmos wheels.  I have since upgraded with FSA Carbon cranks, SpeedPlay X2 pedals, and my brand new Selle Italia saddle.

I will work on uploading the picture in another post.  Bye for now.

Here is my precious 303 after several upgrades  (circa 2001) .  (Taken in 2008 at the start of the Valley Forge section of the 2008 Hershey's Tour De Pink).  We raised over $750,000 for breast cancer.  The bike held up fine.
