Hi all,
Just thought I'd show you all my new build (now known as Charlene).
She's my second EPX bike, the first (Sheila) is a Reef with a Terrashrk swingarm (Now being rebuilt for winter).
I've made some changes to the stock Terrashark frame, the biggest being modifying the swingarm pivot bearing housing to take Polymer flange bearings,
which saves weight and more importantly means no more rusty or seized bearings!! I can now pressure wash the frame (not the forks!) aswell without danger of washing out the bearings!!
I've also added thick wall heat-shrink tubing to the swingarm on both sides to act as stone chip protectors.
Ignore the spacers on the steerer tube, I'm still messing around with riding positions!

Charlene's spec is.........

Forks:  2009 Fox F100 RLC.
Shock:  Fox RP3.
Wheels:  Kooka Carba Clinchers (Carbon Fibre Rims, Panaracer Fire XC Pro Tyres, DR Sludge Tubes).
Headset: Chris King.
Brakes:  Hope Mono Mini (Braided Hoses, 180mm Front Disc, 140mm Rear Disc).
Skewers: KCNC Aluminium Levers, Titanium Axles.
Crankset: Shimano XTR, Blackspire Rings, Shimano M647 Pedals.
Derailleurs: Front: Shimano XTR M970, Rear: Sram XO (KCNC Ceramic Jockey Wheels) Sram XO Shifters.
Handlebars: Thomson Stem, Specialized Carbon Bar, ODI Ruffian Lock-on Grips.
Chain:  Sram PC-991.
Seat:  BBB AnatomicDesign CTL Leather/Titanium Saddle, EPX 1" Layback Carbon Post, Salsa Liplock Clamp.

Future mods include changing the crankset to an FSA Mega Exo Carbon, and changing the brake levers for Hope carbon ones!.

Hope ya like it and let me know what ya all think!! More pics available if anyone wants them!

Cheers

Ste
