I bought two Rohloff hubs from this company they were cheap so I thought that I had a bargain.

But at the time of purchase they told me why they were so cheap, they claimed that they purchased 150 hubs and accessories from Rohloff in England just at the time Mad Cow Disease hit so people were not spending on luxury items like music, clothes, bicycles.... etc.

But the real truth is that the whole container of Rohloff items was flooded and became corroded, rusty, oxidized and  tarnished inside the hubs and cables out of sight to the regular joe shopper.  EPX were supposed to send the entire container back to Germany Rohloff for all items to be fixed / returned.  But EPX kept the insurance money and shipped the entire lot to Melbourne Australia and sold them out of a fly by night shop in Port Melbourne.

Lying bastards.  Rohloff Australia have had nearly 80% returned with cost to clients for repairs.

Note that EPX doesn't exist anymore. The website and forum here are maintained as a place for owners of EPX bikes to stay in touch with each other and discuss anything they like, including David's story in this thread.

There are no official parts suppliers. In fact, I bought the very last EPX carbon handlebar off eBay just recently. A couple of the forum members have been making some sparebits for the Terrashark. Other than the actual frames, most parts are made by third parties and can be found online.

So try not to break your frame!

Personally, I need a replacement for the plastic/hard-rubber bumber that fits into the hinged area on a Speedster frame if anyone has any ideas on that.
